The new member!

 

Hi everyone! It’s me again, and guess what? Bubbles and I have a new friend! His name is Miniso, and he’s a fox. But not just any fox—he’s the sleepiest fox in the whole world!

We met Miniso last night, just before bedtime. Bubbles and I had climbed into bed, all cozy and warm, when we heard a soft snoring sound.

“That’s not me,” Bubbles said quickly.

I frowned. “It’s not me either.”

We looked around, but everything seemed normal. Then we felt something move at the foot of the bed. I lifted the blanket, and there, curled up like a tiny cinnamon roll, was a little orange fox! He was fast asleep, snuggled right into my blanket like he had always lived there.

Bubbles poked him with a tiny hippo foot. “Excuse me, but are you a fox or a very fluffy pillow?”

The fox lifted his head, blinked sleepily at us, and yawned so big I thought he might swallow a cloud. “I’m Miniso,” he mumbled. “And I was having the best dream about a giant marshmallow bed.” Then he flopped back down and started snoring again!

I tried to wake him up with a biscuit, but Bubbles reminded me that not everyone likes biscuits (he still doesn’t trust me for offering him one the first time we met). So instead, we waved a tiny piece of cheese in front of his nose. The smell must have woken him up because his nose twitched, and he slowly opened one eye.

“Is that… cheese?” he asked, perking up a little.

Bubbles nodded. “With extra nap time on the side.”

Miniso took one bite, sighed happily, and then—guess what?—he fell asleep again, right in the middle of chewing! I think he might be the most relaxed fox in history.

So now, we have a new friend! He might not be the best at playing games (because he falls asleep mid-chase), but he’s the best at making naps look like the coziest thing ever. I think we’re going to have lots of adventures—just as long as they include plenty of snoozing breaks for Miniso!
