 BUBBLES TAKES OVER (AGAIN!)

Hello, world!

It’s me — Bubbles, your favourite tiny, pizza-loving hippo.

You may have clicked thinking this was going to be another one of Jen’s sweet little stories about cats and cuddles, but NO! Today, I, Bubbles, have hijacked the blog once again. (Sorry not sorry, Jen.)

This time, it’s all about ME.

The Great Adventure of Captain Bubbles

It all started one sunny afternoon, when I, Captain Bubbles the Brave, decided the living room was too boring. I put on my explorer hat (it’s made of a sock I stole from under the sofa) and set off on a grand quest.

First stop: The Land of the Forbidden Biscuits — a.k.a. the kitchen cupboard I’m not allowed to go near because of “crumbs” and “messes.” I tiptoed past the sleeping cat (who, by the way, still doesn’t know I’m alive) and launched myself into the cupboard like a superhero.

Inside, I found a map! (Okay, it was an old cereal box, but I have a big imagination.)

According to the “map,” the Legendary Golden Pizza was hidden somewhere in the house. So of course, I had to find it.

I climbed Mount Laundry, battled the Dust Bunnies of Doom under the sofa, and crossed the Rug River using only a spoon as a boat. It was a dangerous journey, but no challenge is too big for a hippo of my genius.

Finally, after hours (or like, 20 minutes) of perilous adventuring, I discovered it — the Golden Pizza!

(It was actually a pizza-shaped pillow Jen made for a school project, but shhh, let’s pretend.)

I dragged it heroically back to base (my shoebox bed), planted a flag (a straw), and declared victory!

Captain Bubbles, Conqueror of Crumbs and Finder of Fake Pizzas!

And then I fell asleep for three hours because even the greatest heroes need naps.

Jen says she’s going to change the password so I can’t hijack the blog again.

But between you and me… I always find a way.
