A day in the life of super Jen

Day in the Life of Super Jen

Hi, I’m Jen. I’m ten years old , and—oh yeah—I’m also a superhero.

Most days, I try to be a normal child. I go to school, play with my friends, and pretend I don’t have the biggest secret ever. But some days? Some days are not normal. Today is one of those days.

7:00 AM – The Not-So-Normal Morning

I wake up to the sound of my alarm. Not a regular alarm—mine is a high-tech wrist communicator that only I can hear. It’s buzzing like crazy. That can only mean one thing: trouble.

I groan, roll out of bed, and check the screen. The message reads:

⚠ ALERT: The Bubble Bandit is at it again. All the school buses are trapped in giant bubbles.

Seriously? Bubbles? This villain really needs to be more creative.

7:30 AM – Super Suited Up

I grab my super suit (which looks like an ordinary jumper and trainers but is secretly indestructible), eat a lightning-fast breakfast, and Dash out. My mom thinks I’m just walking to school early. She has no idea I’m about to save the entire town from floating cars.

8:00 AM – Battle in the Sky

The buses are already floating over Main Street, wobbling like balloons. Kids inside are screaming. I take a deep breath, tighten my gloves, and leap into action.

Using my gravity boots, I jump onto the nearest bubble. The Bubble Bandit is laughing from the rooftop.

“Oh look, it’s Super Jen!” he sneers. “Here to pop my plans?”

Ugh. Villains and their terrible jokes.

I roll my eyes. “Actually, I was hoping for a challenge today.”

I press a button on my wristband, activating my Bubble Blaster—a gadget I specifically made for this guy. One zap, and—POP! The first bus lands safely on the ground.

The Bandit panics. He starts making more bubbles, but I’m faster. Pop! Pop! Pop! Within minutes, all the buses are back where they belong, and he’s the only one left floating.

“Not again!” he shouts as I trap him in his own giant bubble and send him drifting toward the police station.

Another villain, another victory. Easy.

8:30 AM – Back to Reality

I rush to school just in time for first period. My best friend Lily turns to me.

“Where were you this morning?” she asks.

“Oh, you know,” I say, shrugging. “Just… running late.”

She raises an eyebrow but doesn’t question it. Good. Because explaining that I just saved the town from a bubble villain before math class? Yeah, that’s way harder than being a superhero.

The End (or Maybe Just the Beginning…?)

Who knows what will happen tomorrow? Maybe I’ll fight a robot, stop an alien invasion, or—if I’m lucky—just have a normal day for once.
